DOG CUP SLOVAKIA 2023

The show season is ending with great news for us and our kennel - Rumba Wavelet - is the best Spanish Water dog in Slovakia for 2023. Thanks to all judges for appreciating her qualities :-)

 

 

In memoriam - Uvane De Valneboeiro

On 14th December 2023 Uvanka (C.I.B, GCH.SK, CH.SK, JCh.SK Uvane De Valneboeiro) crossed the rainbow bridge in the age of 13 years. She was our first female and the first imported SWD in Slovakia, founder of our kennel. You have left us wonderful offsprings, but also huge wound in our hearts. You will be deeply missed! Love you Uvka. I still cannot believe it ...

POLAND:       UZURI Wavelet in junior class got Exc.1, CAJC, JBOB

                        PENELOPE Wavelet in champion class won Exc.1, CAC, BOB and became POLISH CHAMPION. 

SWEDEN:       LADY GAGA Wavelet competed in Sweden, she ended 4th from 8 females, and second day 2nd from 4 females.

GERMANY:    ROSA Wavelet competed in Ludwigshafen, where she ended 1st in intermedia from 4 females.

SLOVAKIA:     UZURI Wavelet in CACIB Bratislava won Exc.1, CAJC, JCACIB, JBOB and Penelope won Exc.1, CAC, CACIB, BOS.

SWEDEN:       LUSH LIFE Wavelet competed in Sweden, where he won BOB and became new Swedish Champion.

DENMARK:    VELVET TOUCH Wavelet competed at his first show in Denmark, where he won BOB puppy.

 

International dog show Brno (CZ) - 24.06.2023

Judge: Boris Spoljaric (CRO) - Rumba Wavelet became new Juniorchampion of CZ, and she also won CAC, CACIB and BOB out of 7 entered SWD.

International dog show PIERIA (Greece) - 18-19.03.2023

Natty (Ronette Wavelet) togethe with Suzie (Mult.CH Ocean Wind Wavelet) travelled to dog shows in Greece. They won beautiful titles, Natty has become Juniorchampion of Greece and Suzie became Champion of Greece. Big congratulations to her owner Klara Zelenkova (CZ) !

 

 

CRUFTS DOG SHOW (BIRMINGHAM, UK) - 09.03.2023 

Breed entries:  70 Spanish Water Dogs    The honorable judge:  Mr. Nigel Egginton (UK)

Where to start... With words is not easy to describe this day and its results. The journey to Birmingham was really long (2 days), but dogs were amazing. Yes, we were a little bit tired. Huge thank you goes to Lucia Parackova and Martina Svitanova for acommondationn and comfort they provided us. The show was really GREAT, HUGE, AMAZING.. Crufts is simply the biggest, most known and oldest dog show in the world, right?!

Veni Vidi Vici - these words can probably describe our day at Crufts. 3 of our dogs participated at this show - Kilimanjaro, Rumba and Penelope. The honorable judge was Mr. Nigel Egginton (Valentisimo´s kennel) who is the most known breeder and judge specialist for this breed from the UK. 70 entered Spanish Water dogs - what a number. The atmosphere was really amazing.

TACO (Mult.CH KILIMANJARO DEL MAJACEITE) won the OPEN CLASS male out of 7 entered dogs (1st prize), later he won CC and in the end also BEST OF BREED title from 70 entered dogs. In the group judging he was shortlisted into 7 BEST GUNDOGS of the day - JUST WOW !!!

Our littler star JCH. RUMBA WAVELET won her class out of 4 entered Junior females (1st prize), later she took RCC and became also RESERVE BEST BITCH in the age of 11 months !!!

The biggest surprise of the day for us was Mult.CH PENELOPE Wavelet, winning the 1st prize in OPEN CLASS out of 14 entered females, getting BEST BITCH and CC !!! Speechless...

All our three dogs won their classes and got the highest ranking at this show. Huge thank you to all exhibitors for their congratulations, new meetings, it was simply amazing. HUGE thank you goes also to Antonio Garcia (Ubrique kennel) - FATHER OF THIS BREED !!! - first from the right in the photo - who came to this show and really supported our dogs. It means a lot to us, all your beautiful words! Last but not least, thank you to owners and breeders of Taco (Majaceite kennel - Marta and José Carlos) for the possibility to fulfill this dream and for their trust they placed into our hands, one year and half ago, when Taco came to our house directly from Spain.

This huge win confirms our love for this breed, effort and long term work in this breed - conformation / character / health. Olé, olé, olé !!!
